Letter from the CEO, Tanya Juarez

The Howard Brain Sciences Foundation would like to extend our deepest condolences to our friends and families impacted by the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. While some individuals have experienced more than others, everyone has felt the effects of the COVID-19 virus.

On behalf of HBSF, I encourage you to take heart, as you are not alone in this fight against an unforeseen pandemic. In the wake of uncertainty, HBSF is redirecting the majority of our operations to combat COVID-19 and its spread. This strategic pivot will ensure that the flow of apprehensible information will remain circulating regularly as we deploy our resources to fight the COVID-19 virus. Our team of researchers come from an array of backgrounds with the ability to understand the virus through multiple lenses, with a commitment towards producing comprehensive solutions.

Lastly, for many people, this may be an overwhelming time as societal norms begin to change. We have not forgotten the mental health implications of this pandemic. This is an area of care that does not go unnoticed. Please know you can always reach out to the patient advocacy provided by HBSF for additional resources to help in these difficult times. Please email patientadvocacy@brainsciences.org for more information.

We and our world are experiencing challenging times. Yet, that should never stop us, as humans, to inquire about the well-being of each other, especially as technology affords us that distinct opportunity to do so. We at HSBF stand with the global community as we face these challenges together. HSBF is committed to the wellbeing of mankind through utilizing cutting-edge technology, and innovative solutions. HSBF is fully engaged in contributing to the prosperity and health of future generations.

Sincerely,

Tanya M. Juarez
